Demostrator - Health and home monitoring system based on Arduino and smartwatches

Now I’m going to show you ademonstration about my biometric monitoring system.

As you can seethere are seven buttons in the main dashboard and each of them represent an individual sensor from the eHealth kit.

This is the GSR conductance sensor, GSR resistance and GSR conductancevoltage.

This is the airflow sensor, ECG sensor, EMG sensor and body temperaturesensor.

Now I would like to take the airflow sensor as an example to show youhow the website works.

So we click and enter into the individual page of the airflowsensor and if we click this button we will start active mode of the sensor andthen your airflow wave will be showing in real-time as a figure.

Beforedoing that we will first get the time interval which means we can see thesample period of the sensor and it is set to 100 milliseconds.

But if you thinkthis is too long.

I mean, if you want to improve the sample rate you can changeit here.

Now you can set the sample period at 60milliseconds.

And it success.

And now we can start the active mode of the airflowsensor.

I would like to wear an airflow sensor and to start the active modeof it, then I will take a deep breath.

I start and then,(she takes deep breaths) (she takes deep breaths) My respiration is shown as asignal in the webpage.

Now I would like to switch to the environment monitoringplatform and data from the smart home sensors will be shown and updatedevery three seconds.

Now we switch to it and we can see one, two, three,it changes and one, two, three, it changes and one, two, three, it changes.

So the datais updated automatically every three seconds.

If we want to enter intothe individual page of the temperature sensor and if we want to get atemperature, we click this button and here it is, 20 degrees.

If we wantto get the interval, this is the time period of the active mode of thissensor and it is set to one second.

We can see the color of the node iscorresponding with the temperature so, if the temperature is low the color wouldbe green and blue but if the temperature is high it would be orangeor red.

So let's try it.

If the temperature is about 35 degrees itbecomes to red color and the notification will be "Hot".

If we start an activemode, it will be shown like this.

That is it.

Now I would like toshow you the software running on the Raspberry Pi.

The Raspberry Pi shows thecontrol GUI of the choreographer, wihch can not support a browser to displaywebpages.

Some graphical services are created in our window which can be usedto manage the sensors, like the temperature, the humidity, the ilumination, motion, ECG and more, so users can interact with thesensors without the need of accessing to the webpage.

Now I would like toconnect the environmental sensors.

Here we connect them.

Then if youwant to get a data from the temperature sensor, we can get it.

It is the same, but ifwe try the illumination sensor, we can get one measure.

If we get the time interval, it isset to one second and if we want to start the active mode this are the measures.

Now we stop it.

That's it.
