Xiaomi Amazfit Pace Smartwatch Review!

The market of smartwatches is pretty crowded.

and you can choose from the most expensiveand feature packed wathces like Samsung's gear or look for cheaper yet high qualityalternatives.

I've been using the amazfit pace smartwatchwhich is made by xiaomi subsidiery huami.

It has a built in GPS and some other coolfeatures but there are some caveats that you should know before buying it.

My name is Sal and here's a review of theamazfit pace.

Just before we start, I wanna thank gearbestfor sending me this in, and I'll put all the links in the description box below.

So the watch is shipped inside a nice littlebox.

Inside it, you'll find a USB cable, some paperwork and a charging cradle.

The Smartwatch design is always subsjectivebut I think the Xiaomi amazfit looks beautiful.

It kinda represents simplicity and moderntecnology in one package.

We have a scratch resistance ceramic bezeland 1.

34" gorilla glass screen.

The display is always on, the sunlight readabilityis excellent and the backlight can be turned on just by twisting your wrist or double tappingthe screen or just pressing the side button.

On the back we have a heart rate sensor whichdoes a pretty good job.

The straps look good and the watch has ip67rating for water and dust resistance which is a must for any smartwatch.

It has all the basic features like pedometer,heart rate sensor, sleep monitor and built in GPS.

Also, there's a reminder in watch which remindseverytime you sit for too long.

Another cool feature is that it has 4GB ofinternal memory from which 2gb is usable.

So you can listen to the music through anybluetooth headphone whithout actually needing your phone.

The amazfit app allows you to track your activity,select from a few watch faces and adjust few settings.

However, I expected a large collection ofwatch faces but atleast you can select a custom background.

As far as the notifications go, they workwith all the social networking apps like facebook, whatsapp or twitter.

Also, you get an incoming call notificationbut you can't actually speak through it, as it doesn't have the mic.

The battery life of this watch is amazing,it lasts easily for a week with normal usage and if you use the GPS and a heartrate sensora lot then it will give around 3 days of usage time.

The One thing that I don't like about thiswatch is that the display doesn't really look good when you're indoor.

The contrast is clearly lacking and tihs shouldgive you an idea of how it looks with the backlight on.

But the display looks great outdoor and sincethis watch is meant for outdoor activity, it shouldn't be a big deal.

All in all the Amazfir pace smartwch can becalled a premium midrange smartwatch.

I love how it looks, it's comfortable to wearand it packs all the essential features for fitness and the notifications work prettywell.

I missed hands free calling feature, the backlightis not good and it would be nice if we can reply to the notifications.

Other than that it works perfectly fine, itlooks really good and i would recommend you to buy it despite a few shortcomings.
